Care and Support

When additional counsel is required beyond our pastors and ministers, we walk in partnership with several outstanding ministries that offer biblical counseling for those seeking, healing, freedom and wisdom:
LIGHT MINISTRY:  LIGHT ministry team serves as an advocate for biblical-based counseling to assist in healing relationships and establishing environment of learning and growing, where people can embrace God’s grace and love in their lives in intimate, small group settings.

The leadership at St. Paul is committed to building strong marriages and will do what we can to help you start off on a solid foundation.  Therefore, we ask every couple to complete pre-marital counseling prior to your ceremony.   This includes four in-depth pre-marital counseling with a certified counselor.

Hospital, Home & Bereavement

The Visitation team ensures that individuals from our church who are homebound or hospitalized for surgery, or in a nursing home, have someone to visit them during their hospital stay and during recovery time at home following hospitalization.  This is a way to show care for one another, and to touch another person with the love of Christ through empathetic listening and sincere praying.  Stephen’s Ministers are also available to provide one-on-one caregiving to persons experiencing a life crisis or challenge and also during time of bereavement or loss.
To notify the church of an illness, hospital stay, or death, please call the church 309-686-2086 x724 and a member of the Visitation team will contact you as soon as possible.
